The bulk of a data professional’s time went into process, not perspective. But now, with tools like ChatGPT and integrated AI copilots, much of that heavy lifting  from exploratory analysis to automated reporting is being streamlined.

This shift is fundamentally changing the core value of a data professional. Instead of spending hours wrestling with syntax or manual feature engineering, professionals can now focus on the strategic orchestration of insights asking sharper questions, validating results, and designing intelligent workflows that align directly with business outcomes.
